I realize that what I do for my clients is very personal, so I wanted to give people a chance to get to know me a little better as well. It's all about the essense of giving and receiving.
I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I moved to the states when I was 8 with my mother. She's the one who gave me my first sunscreen when I was 13 and told me to use it and I would thank her for it later... and she was right.
I attended school at the University of Georgia over 10 years ago and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Studio Art. I had planned on pursuing a career as an Art Therapist, but life had other plans for me. I became interested in makeup in my mid 20's and worked for MAC Cosmetics at their store in Perimeter Mall. It was during this time that I realized there were so many beautiful women who didn't take care of their skin. They just wanted to cover things up instead of fixing them from the inside out. (Because good skin comes from what you put into your body as well :) So I went back to school and attended the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics in Dunwoody. I graduated in 2006 and have been pursuing my craft since then.
Just like a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly, I too, am always transcending.. always growing and always moving forward. Life is such a beautiful gift and as we grow as special beings, it is important to remember to take care of ourselves as well as each other. It's not a luxury, it's a necessity. It is only when we receive energy , love and light for ourselves that we can fully give to others... and share our Inner Beauty.
